This bright and spacious room has been designed to provide our pre-school children with the very best environment and resources to support their learning and development.

There are activities and resources on offer to the children so that they can make choices and to enhance their learning opportunities. Planned activities are provided by the staff working in the rooms on a daily basis according to our curriculum plan.

During some group and activity times the children may be split into smaller groups, however, all of the children eat together and share some free play time during the day.

The Explorers Room has instant access to its own garden, including a decked area and a sand house. The children have free flow access to the garden.

Staff ratio 1:8 minimum.

Another spacious environment which naturally allows play and learning to develop.  Resources are rotated regularly and follow the children's current interests. Our skilled staff are always ready to step in and lend a supporting hand to ‘teach’ when the opportunity arises.

Dizzy's encourages independence throughout the Nursery day by giving the children opportunities for self-discovery.

The Pioneer Room is home to our long term resident tortoise, Mr T, who occasionally poses for still life drawing sessions.

The Pioneers Room also has its own garden which boasts an enticing mud kitchen and a small garden of wild flowers, cared for by the Pioneer children. The climbing cube is a favourite with the children as they develop gross motor skills, confidence and self-esteem.

Staff ratio 1:8 minimum.
